Assessment of Vision & Common Eye Problems in Horses

The Cornell Equine Hospital is excited to introduce you to Kelly Knickelbein, VMD who recently joined our ophthalmology department.

 Dr. Kelly Knickelbein is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery at Rhinebeck Equine and a comparative ophthalmology internship at the University of California-Davis. Following this, she completed a residency in comparative ophthalmology at UC Davis. Dr. Knickelbein is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists.

Dr. Knickelbein thoroughly enjoys the comparative nature of ophthalmology. Her primary interests include equine ophthalmology, heritable ocular disorders and ophthalmic imaging.
