Heat Lamp Safety

Presenter: Amy Barkley

During the colder months and harsh winter, it is sometimes necessary to supplement heat to livestock. Young, orphaned, and sick or injured animals may not be able to regulate their own body temperatures, making the provision of supplemental heat critical for their health and well-being. Heat lamps are commonly used for this purpose. This video shares how heat lamps work and how to use them safely on the farm.
